Special Events
Numerous organizations throughout the city host special events throughout the year, including the Annual Christmas Parade, the Annual Memorial Day Parade, various races, and other community events.
Application process
All events that require the use of city property, services, or road closures require a special events application and approval from City Council. Applications should be submitted to the City Clerk 90 days prior to the event. Once an application has been submitted, the applicant will meet with city staff to go over their event and what is needed in the way of city services. The event will then go to City Council for final approval.
For events being held in applicable City Parks, a park rental form and fee is required.
