Overview
The ZBA hears requests for variances from the ordinance when a request has been denied by the Planning & Zoning Administrator or Building Official. This board of 5 regular members, plus 2 alternate members, is made up of local volunteers with various backgrounds, especially in law, Land Use Planning, Architecture, Policy Formulation, Building Construction, Engineering, or Real Estate. Background in Leadership, Organizational, Decision-Making, and Communication Skills is preferred.
