Voter Registration Information

The Michigan Voter Information Center allows voters to check on their registration status, the status of any absentee ballot applications or ballots, view any ballots for their area, and much more. Go to Michigan.gov/Vote for more information.

Early Voting

With the passing of Proposal 2022-2, early voting is now a state constitutional right for State and Federal Elections. The City of Marshall has entered into an agreement to partner with Calhoun County and 18 other jurisdictions within the county to allow our voters the opportunity for Early Voting.

Early Voting Days and times

Early Voting centers are required to be open for 9 consecutive days starting the second Saturday before any State or Federal election and ending the Sunday before. Those in the partnership with Calhoun County have set our hours to be 9am to 5 pm each of the required days.

Early Voting Closing and Receiving Board

Precinct closing for early voting will occur at the Calhoun County Building in the garden level conference room on Election night at 8 pm.

Return of Absentee Ballots

City of Marshall Drop BoxAbsentee ballots must be returned by 8 pm on Election Day. You may return them U.S. Mail or placed in our drop box on the Northeast side of City Hall.
